About Shawn Toelcke

I discovered my over the top golf swing in my backyard at age eleven with the only clubs I had, my moms. I graduated from Blaine Senior High in 1993 where I played golf my last three years on the varsity team. I have continued to play golf and plan on playing for many more years. I played baseball for eight years along with several other sports and continue to stay active. I've been giving lessons and teaching golf ever since I was eleven years old. I was unaware of the extent of my potential until I graduated at the top of my class from The Golf Academy of America in Chandler, Arizona. In April 2009, I earned an applied business degree in Golf Complex Operations and Management. I also earned the professionalism award, was elected class president and made the director's list all four quarters. I earned my teaching certificate and Henry Griffith's club fitting certificate. I volunteered at multiple PGA and LPGA charity events while attending school. I recently finished a six month contract working on Carnival Cruise Lines as their golf instructor. I love playing golf and my passion is teaching other players how to improve their game. I look forward to the opportunity to help you achieve your best swing.
